About Ronan
My name is Ronan McGill I am 26 years old,
I am currently an online teacher for a popular Vietnamese EdTech group.
Before I left Ireland I worked as a substitute teacher in a post-primary school (13 - 18 years of age).
I hold a 150-hour TEFL certificate, Diploma in full-stack software development and a higher national diploma in music production.
My interests outside of Teaching include:
Music, Mountain biking, Camping, Photography, Technology, Gaming and Fitness

I have 1 year of post-primary teaching. During the pandemic substitute teachers were in high demand in Ireland, I worked in classes of 30 students aged between 13 - 18 with many different strengths and weaknesses. I also have experience teaching a small group of special needs students and providing reading assistance to students during their examinations. more recently I have been Teaching in Vietnam, hosting small English tutoring sessions for Vietnamese adults in the evening and teaching Vietnamese businessmen and women online during the day. I like to create a fun and relaxed environment when I am teaching. I believe that getting to know my students on a personal level is of utmost importance so that lessons can be tailored to align with the interests of the student.
