About Rachel
I am a junior at BYU Provo studying English Teaching, though math is also a great strength of mine. I have been tutoring students for five years, and have specifically taught SAT prep for one year. I not only have an impressive academic history, but I am familiar with effective teaching pedagogy and am a patient, effective teacher.

My teaching method for the SAT/ACT is based on learning the fundamental principles of math and English that are frequently tested, understanding the vocabulary used to indicate which principle is being tested, and understanding the way the test is written. I also teach test taking principles individualized to the students' strengths in motivation, confidence, and accuracy.
