About Maryam
Enthusiastic and dedicated, I am keen to help students believe and achieve what they set out to do. One of my strengths during my time as a teacher is that I helped a lot of students gain confidence which in turn enabled their success. I am punctual to lessons and I take a very professional approach to my lessons. I am offering tuition as I enjoy teaching but would like to cater to students who need that extra boost and I believe that by offering the 1-1 online tuition then I can provide students with that confidence to succeed.

I take a structured approach to lessons, firstly by assessing the level of help the student requires then by establishing a curriculum in order to ensure that each lessons caters to those needs. My lessons take a scaffolding approach whereby I begin with easier areas then gradually increase in difficulty in order to build the student's confidence. I am currently offering English tuition to GCSE and help with exam prep and college/ university applications. I was a French teacher up to GCSE for 3 years and I also have experience in online tuition. I decided to switch to English tuition as I really enjoyed literature and have strong critical thinking skills. I am also happy to offer tuition for French up to GCSE if a tutee is interested.
