About Caitlin
As cheesy as it sounds, I want to help people express, rather than repress themselves. I have often been told that I would never amount to anything, that I wasn't creative, or established enough, but here I am today, with a 1st class honours degree, and a new journey to look forward to. I understand, first-hand that some teachers or figures within our lives who hold authority, can be degrading and hurtful, but I am here to change that. We are human beings, equals. I will treat you as a human being and help nurture your knowledge and offer genuine support.

I will establish a lesson that works with you and your own methods or needs (adhd, add, ocd, anxiety, friendly) .
As a baseline I will set up the subject of the day, whether it's an art history lesson discussing a particular movement, or a lesson discussing practical, ie. printmaking processes. I will compartmentalise the lesson's key points; for an art movement this would be from when the movement started, the pioneers, artists influenced by or involved with the movement and the style/methods portrayed.
For a practical lesson I will walk you through the materials needed, and the process itself, I will suggest a process you can do within a studio and an alternative to when you're working from home. I will also let you in on some tips and tricks I have learned within my own practice.
Students working on their GCSE art, college level or university degree are welcome! I have always taken on the role of a teacher throughout my own time at university and am working towards a Master's degree so I can eventually become a university lecturer. I can guarantee a lesson that will cater to you and any worries you may have, through patience and understanding I will assist you in working towards the best outcome you can achieve.
