About Angel
I am a full-time student who has recently completed four A Levels at three different schools; I achieved three A*s and one B, and I am now pre-reading for my Lent term at the University of Cambridge. I am a diligent and conscientious learner, with enthusiasm for all academic and creative pursuits. I have very current academic experience, and am able to pitch and plan at different levels, perceptive to the individual and their circumstances.

I approach tutoring of a student with a diagnostic session where I will run through various subject tasks with them, such as reading comprehension, analysis, and writing, to ascertain areas of focus. I also request students' written work, grades, and exam board beforehand so I know how best to aid them. Lessons usually last 1-2 hours depending on the workload and deadlines of the student, and how close examinations are. I have three years of experience working with students from a variety of age ranges and academic levels- ranging from year 6 SATs preparation to GCSE and A Level preparations.

Perfect! I was anxious for my first lesson but Angel was so lovely and calming and was a great help with my homework. She was very methodical in her approach to teaching and extremely competent in her knowledge. I’m looking forward to learning more with Angel.
- Nicola is an engaged and receptive learner who takes all feedback on board- it is nice to work with someone so open to constructive criticism and dedicated to improving their work. Nicola already has an aptitude for writing and will only continue to excel :)Angel's response :

Angel is reliable, honest and adaptive - she is able to gauge the learners needs and to deliver in an enjoyable and engaging way. Her knowledge is very current and she has been a great help!
Angel has been an outstanding tutor for my children as well as for many of my friends’ children. I am a tutor myself, specialising in maths, physics, and science subjects, but English is the one area I do not teach—this is where Angel’s expertise has been invaluable. I hired her specifically for her strong command of English, and she has exceeded every expectation.
She has a proven track record of helping students achieve excellent grades. From 11 Plus preparation to primary and secondary support, Angel excels at guiding students with clarity and confidence. She also tutors GCSE English across various exam boards, including AQA, OCR, and others, and she consistently adapts her teaching to suit each student's needs.
One of the things that sets her apart is her own academic strength: she earned admission into one of the most prestigious universities, Oxbridge, thanks to her exceptional level of English. This depth of knowledge is reflected in the quality of her teaching.
Thanks to Angel’s dedication, my children secured places at highly selective schools, and many of my friends’ children have achieved similar success. I recommend her wholeheartedly to any parent seeking an experienced, capable, and highly effective English tutor. She truly brings out the best in every student she teaches.View more recommendations
