About Liam

I'm Liam, a 21 year old student in my final year at Lancaster University, studying Film, Media and Cultural studies. My journey with Media Studies began at GCSE level and I have studied it ever since. I intend on studying and training to become a Media Studies teacher once I finish my undergraduate degree, so I already have an understanding of how learning works and how I can squeeze the most from my sessions, to ensure you are working at your full potential. Aside from my studies, I am a big fan of football, music and television.

About the lesson

I provide 1 hour online lessons for Media Studies students doing their GCSEs or A-Levels. My sessions are not a one size fits all experience; I tailor the style and content of my lessons to suit the needs of the individual, meaning that my tutoring sessions are suitable for all levels, from those wanting to pass to those looking to get top grades. Whether you are looking for some exam technique tips or to understand content that you had previously not understood, consider my lessons a welcoming and encouraging space to get you where you aspire to be. In your initial message, let me know what exam board you are studying with.

Liam and I have known each other since primary school. Liam was always a high achiever and loved to share his knowledge and passions with those around him. Liam reached out to me in secondary school when I was struggling with some of my exams. He was an excellent tutor who was incredibly patient, kind, and supportive throughout my GCSEs. He took the time to explain things clearly, adapted to my learning needs, and always made me feel comfortable asking questions. His encouragement and positive attitude helped me feel more confident in my abilities, and he was a big reason why I excelled in Media Studies. I would highly recommend Liam to everyone.
