About Rasana
I’m a Mathematics student at the University of Waterloo specializing in Financial Analysis & Risk Management. With a strong academic foundation in math, statistics, and problem-solving, I’m passionate about helping students build both confidence and clarity in challenging subjects.
I have experience working with students from diverse age groups and academic backgrounds, and I tailor each lesson to the individual’s learning style — whether that’s visual explanations, step-by-step breakdowns, repetition practice, or interactive discussion. My goal isn’t just to help students get the right answer, but to make sure they truly understand the “why” behind it.
As someone who balances rigorous coursework, leadership roles, and professional experience, I understand how overwhelming academics can feel. I focus on creating a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment that encourages active recall, critical thinking, and long-term retention.
