About Ritusha
Hi! I'm a third-year Medical student at the University of Glasgow. I've always enjoyed learning and have particularly loved subjects such as Human Biology and Mathematics.
One of the things I enjoy most about learning is being able to take a difficult concept, break it down into simpler parts, and apply that knowledge — which is something I hope to bring into my lessons. I aim to make my lessons friendly, relaxed and tailored to your needs. I don't believe there is one teaching method that works for everyone, so I want to adapt my approach to suit each student.
I have always enjoyed teaching, and I want to tutor because I know how challenging exams and school can feel, especially when you are struggling with a subject or simply need someone to explain things in a different way.

My goal is to make every session as engaging, effective and tailored to the individual student. I want to adapt my teaching style to suit your needs and focus on weaker areas.
My lesson plan can include clear explanations of difficult concepts, worked examples, active recall, exam style practice questions and past papers. I want to make every session as high yield as possible, placing a strong emphasis on understanding and applying the information rather than simply memorising it.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. We can discuss goals before the first lesson so that I can plan sessions accordingly.
I am currently a 3rd year medical student at the University of Glasgow, which has given me a strong background in Biology and Chemistry, as well as my experience with demanding examinations and independent study.
I have always particularly enjoyed Maths and have experience supporting others with their learning. I have also taken part in and helped with medical school interview preparation, giving me experience in explaining concepts clearly, building confidence and helping students prepare for challenging assessments.
These experiences have enabled me to develop a patient and adaptable approach to teaching. I aim to make lessons supportive and approachable while helping student develop their understanding and confidence.
