About Angus
I'm a Classics student at the university of Oxford, and I've loved my degree: the breadth it has offered is amazing, and I'm keen to pass that passion on. I particularly enjoy the mechanical workings of the classical languages themselves, and I believe that this is an area which can be generally taught better and more effectively. I'm aiming to go into teaching after my degree, so tutoring is a great way for me to get to grips with the profession.

Having left school only 3 years ago, I know what works and what doesn't when it comes to learning. I aim to teach in a way which is rigorous and thorough, but which is simple and effective: all too often, textbooks make things complicated where they needn't be. I focus on breaking things down to their core elements, and using examples to elucidate them.
