About
MiMi’s Emergency Room LLC is an American Heart Association Training Site based in Chicago, IL, serving the Woodlawn/Hyde Park area near the University of Chicago. The center provides hands-on emergency care instruction aligned with AHA standards, including Basic Life Support (weekly in-person classes), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. As a franchisee of Pet Tech, it also delivers pet CPR and first aid certification for pet owners, sitters, veterinary staff, dog walkers, and related professionals.
Beyond training, MiMi’s Emergency Room LLC offers Notary Public services as a member of the National Notary Association. The organization has expanded into DNA and laboratory services, providing paternity and postmortem DNA collections with AABB-affiliated collection training, and facilitating a wide range of lab tests through partnerships with Ulta Lab and Quest Diagnostics for employment, school, travel, and prescreening needs.
Additional education services include an 8-hour EKG rhythm interpretation course, live instructor-led tutoring for nursing students, and private Legal Nurse Consultant services focused on documentation, resuscitation records, fall prevention, and related clinical scenarios. The facility offers flexible appointments, free parking, and a classroom environment designed for effective learning. Classes are typically held on Thursdays, with select AHA courses also available on weekends.
