About Matthew
I have a level 2 qualification in strength and conditioning and have just returned from a year working in injury rehabilitation at the sports surgery clinic in Dublin. My university course also covers concepts of physical activity motivation and physiology in great depth so I have a very good level of understanding in exercise prescription.

I am looking to help people become more active through engaging them in activities which they enjoy whilst also educating them in the process. I also have extensive knowledge in strength training and Olympic weightlifting and enjoy working in this area.
I adopt differing approaches based on the client as different people respond to different forms of motivation however encouraging people to make positive lifestyle changes is my main philosophy.

A really great tutor. Explains things simply and is patient when I don't understand. I would definitely reccomend Matthew as a maths tutor.
I have known Matthew for many years since secondary school, playing multiple sports alongside him such as Football, Cricket and Rugby. I have spent plenty of time on the gym with him as well. He has given me plenty of advice regarding my technique, as well as helping me identify fitness goals to work towards. I also was in the same Maths class as him throughout secondary school, and he would regularly help me out when I was struggling to understand the work. He went on to achieve a very good grade. I would definitely recommend him either as a personal trainer or as a maths tutor.
