About Orla
I enjoy working with students from different backgrounds and of differing abilities to help them reach their goals and potential. I hope I am able to provide additional support to people requiring more time and one to one focus.
The process of applying to medicine can seem daunting but I believe I can help students by providing tailored advice of each stage of the process, from UCAT to personal statements to interviews to ensure that students are well prepared and confident in their application.

I want my sessions to be lead by the student, as this will enable me to focus on specific topics which they are struggling on, or simply on improving exam technique. Therefore my tutoring sessions can be very variable and adapted to suit each students needs but will be focused mainly around working through misunderstood or difficult topics with students, followed by practising exam technique as assessing the student's ability to apply their knowledge to questions in a creditable way, ensuring that they can achieve top marks.
