About Amanda
Music has been woven into my life from the very beginning. I grew up in a musical family, and my mom—who was a passionate piano teacher—began teaching me when I was only four years old. Those early years shaped not just my skills, but my love for music and the way I now teach my own students.
I am classically trained under the ABRSM Grade 8 syllabus, and I bring this strong foundation into every lesson I teach. Although I work as an emergency veterinarian, music remains one of the most important and comforting parts of my life. Whenever I feel stressed or overwhelmed, I naturally find myself returning to the piano. It has always been my anchor—my safe space—and truly a lifelong friend.
This is the same experience I hope to give to you or your child.
I genuinely believe that music can be a companion throughout life: a source of joy, expression, and emotional comfort. My goal is to share the warmth, passion, and love for music that my mom once gave me, and to help you build a relationship with the piano that lasts a lifetime.

Looking for engaging, effective, and enjoyable piano lessons? I offer personalised classes for all ages—from curious 4-year-olds to passionate beginners in their 70s. It is never too late to start your musical journey!
I strongly believe in building solid foundations, especially note reading. With strong sight-reading skills, students can play anything they love—not just pieces memorised by repetition. Memory can only take you so far, but confident reading makes music a lifelong friend.
Whether you're learning for leisure or preparing for exams, I ensure lessons remain fun, stress-free, and highly rewarding. I teach both the ABRSM and AMEB syllabuses, offering expert guidance for all grades and levels.
