About Kassandra
I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor's of English and an embedded certificate in Creative Writing. I learned from some of the best professors and creative writer/authors and am still writing every day. I'm currently enrolled in a Legal Assistant program where my typing, reading, proofreading, and editing skills are being further honed to perfection. I strongly enjoy helping people with learning skills for reading and writing whether beginner or University levels. My plan in life is to become a University professor teaching Creative Writing or English Literature so tutoring is my step 2 with step 1 being a graduate of UofC.

Start of each session includes review of progress and what goals we need to achieve Spend 5-10 minutes of reading aloud to increase confidence (optional) Spend 5-10 minutes of creative writing (optional) Spend 20 minutes going through assigned homework and review where improvements can be made Spend 15 minutes editing/proofreading homework Spend 5 minutes making plans for the next set of goals to achieve These lessons are for anyone from ESL beginners, High School learners, and University students but anyone is welcome :) I want to get to know my students and make sure they feel heard and seen in the challenging world of education and feel confident in the skills they gain through my instruction.
