About Jeremy

Hello, my name is Jeremy, and I am a second-semester nursing student at John Abbott College. While my professional life is dedicated to science and medicine, my personal life is driven by discipline and a passion for understanding the world. Beyond the classroom, I'm an avid gym-goer and have a deep passion for martial arts like MMA, which has taught me the importance of hard work, strategy, and perseverance. These principles are what I bring to every tutoring session. I believe true academic success isn't just about memorizing facts. It's about building the discipline to understand the "why" and the "how." This philosophy, shaped by my interests in philosophy and psychology & is what allowed me to achieve exceptional results in my own studies: Math (100%) Physics (96%) Chemistry (98%) My approach goes beyond a typical tutoring session. I serve as an Academic Coach who is easy to talk to and truly understands the challenges students face. I teach students to think critically and learn how to learn. We will work together on: Effective Study Strategies: We'll develop a personalized plan that turns studying into a clear, manageable process. A Deeper Understanding: I don't just teach the material; I teach the logic and reasoning behind it, so you can solve problems on your own. A Winning Mindset: My background in sports and philosophy helps me mentor students on building confidence and a growth mindset. As a Pointe-Claire resident who loves to learn (I even read medical jargon for fun!), I am here to help you not just improve a grade, but to build the skills for a lifetime of academic confidence. Please feel free to contact me for a free consultation to discuss how I can help you achieve your goals.
