About Zain
I have extensive experience in designing, coordinating and delivering teaching across a wide range of formats, including:
1) Formal employment as an interview skills tutor and lecturer by a high-profile medical school application company
2) Selected to sit on the Imperial College London undergraduate medicine interview panel
3) Designed and taught an Academic Foundation Programme application course with the UKMSA (lectures/interview skills)
4) Small group tutorials and bedside teaching to 3/4/5th year medical students on pre-clinical and clinical medicine
5) Co-founded the Imperial College Immunology Society and tutored physiology/pathology to undergraduate medics.
I have had excellent feedback on all my teaching from one-to-one sessions/tutorials to larger lectures.

I'm an academic infectious diseases doctor who qualified from Imperial College London with triple distinction in my primary medical degree (MBBS), first class honours in my BSc and several prizes throughout medical school. I completed my first-choice Academic Foundation Programme and my internal medicine training in competitive central London programmes.
I am keen to continue tutoring:
1) Medical school applicants (personal statement/interview skills)
2) All years of undergraduate medicine (preclinical, OSCEs/PACES)
3) Application preparation for AFP and ACF (including white space and interview skills)
4) Preparation for postgraduate MRCP examinations (Part 1, 2 and PACES)
I strongly believe that all teaching should be individualised to a tutee's learning style. To begin with, I set aside time to fully understand baseline knowledge/skills and ensure that my teaching is aligned with the relevant curriculum. Sessions run as interactive tutorials with plenty of time for questions along the way.
