Nat has a spectacular ear and intuition, forming a solid foundation for their ability to understand areas of strength and growth in their students' sound. Paired with their deep knowledge of musical theory and traditions, and their intention-centered pedagogy, I trust them completely to help any voices take center stage!

Nat and I have worked together on various music projects for coming on 10 years now and I could not recommend her guidance and expertise enough! Nat is a truly well-rounded and one-of-a-kind natural talent. She can pick up almost any instrument and figure out how to play it intuitively in a matter of minutes - it is incredible to watch. As a vocalist, she has trained in choral and jazz settings, which helped hone her ear to pick up nuances in pitch, rhythm, blend, and tone in group settings. Nat has been a major help in my development as a choral singer by listening carefully for places where I need to adjust tone/volume/diction/etc. to blend better with my peers. She is also an excellent jazz improvisational singer and has helped me improve my own improv skills! As a singer songwriter, her voice takes on a truly unique and expressive quality that defies genre and sets her apart from other artists. Our collaborations have inspired me to write my own music and helped me develop a sound that is uniquely mine and matches the content of my writing. Beyond musicianship, Nat’s talents truly shine as a songwriter. As a poetry major in college, she won the Ruth George poetry prize and the Frederick Hart award for excellence in poetry and creative writing. It’s hard to say if her natural talent for songwriting, which she has been doing since she was very young, made her an incredible poet or the other way around, but either way it is clear that she is a master of words. Anyone would be lucky to have Nat look over their lyrics or help them develop an idea into a unique and thoughtfully-crafted song - I know my own writing has benefitted immensely from our professional music relationship. I can imagine Nat would be an excellent Superprod for anyone trying to improve their songwriting on ANY level - be that coming up with song ideas, writing lyrics from scratch, improving existing lyrics, workshopping the overall concept of a song or album, diversifying the musical structure of a song, assessing and improving vocal ability, writing interesting melodies and harmonies, or really anything else you could think of. If you want to create meaningful music with a warm, thoughtful, and deeply passionate musician, I cannot recommend Nat enough!
