Ms. Sumaira Hamid was my professor at the Lahore School of Economics in 2007. She has been one of the few teacher and professors who helped me shape the course of my career. Particularly because she was a natural when it came to transferring her advanced knowledge of Finance in the most easy-to-understand manner. It's only thanks to her that I decided to major in Finance and Economics for my BSc programme. Furthermore, Ms. Sumaira knows how to build a bond with her students and perhaps one proof of it is the fact that I'm happily writing this review for her almost after a decade of our interaction at the Lahore School of Economics.

I have had the honour of knowing Sumaira since University where she taught multiple Finance courses across 4 years and also supervised my graduating thesis.

Ms. Sumaira has been amongst the most refined, humble, dedicated, competent and professional team members that I ever worked with in my professional life of over 35 years.

Earlier, she was my student in the Research methodology and model building course and soon after she worked as a colleague with me as a faculty and research fellow for around 18 years. At the university, her core responsibilities include teaching courses in Finance, Research Methods, Computing for Business, and Business Statistics.
In addition to working as a faculty, she was deeply involved in planning and design related matters such as curriculum development and developing the criterion for evaluation of the honor's and master's thesis.

Her research and quantitative skills include designing and coding surveys and questionnaires, helping students with structuring their research papers and theses, doing data mining and analyzing the data using SPSS, Minitab, AMOS, and Stata, and most importantly the critical appraisal skills to evaluate the academic worth of research. She has supervised several research projects and theses in the diverse domains of business studies and finance. In addition to teaching, she was amongst the most liked and competent thesis supervisors, who encouraged students to excel, without compromising on the quality.

She has quite extraordinary research orientation and the ability to work indigenously.
