My teaching method focuses on using real life relatable examples to make concepts easier for students to grasp. A lesson would involve an explanation of the concept or topic at hand with questions in between that are a gauge for me as to whether the student understands or not. It then follows with examples and different scenarios and later the student is given the opportunity to try and attempt some work on their own. A brief feedback is given regarding the attempt and steps are taken to fix mistakes.
I believe in positive reinforcement and helping the student understand that if they believe they can do something then they will be one step closer to doing it. I am patient and go out of my way to find examples that each student can easily understand.
