Hi, I'm an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner working in a busy acute NHS hospital, and I'm passionate about helping nursing students succeed.
I understand that studying nursing can be both rewarding and challenging, and everyone learns differently. Whether you're preparing for exams, tackling assignments, developing your clinical knowledge, or building confidence in your studies, I provide friendly, personalised support tailored to your individual goals.
My aim is to create a relaxed, encouraging learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, developing your understanding, and achieving your full potential.

Every session is tailored to your individual learning needs, whether you're preparing for exams, working on assignments, strengthening your clinical knowledge, or developing academic writing skills.
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a first class BA (Hons) Adult Nursing and an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Distinction), I combine extensive clinical experience with a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring. I am also a published author and Chair of a leading national nursing group, allowing me to bring current, evidence-based knowledge and real-world clinical insight into every session.
With over 17 years of mentoring and supporting nursing students and healthcare professionals, I understand the challenges that nursing education can bring. My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and encouraging, creating a relaxed environment where you can ask questions, build confidence, and reach your full potential. Lessons are delivered online, making it easy to fit tuition around your placement, university timetable, work, or family commitments.
Sessions are available in 1- or 2-hour appointments and are suitable for nursing students at any stage of their education. My aim is not only to help you succeed in your current studies but also to equip you with the knowledge, confidence, and critical thinking skills that will support you throughout your nursing career.

Sarah is an amazing tutor. As a current practicing ANP in the HPB field, and with her past roles in research, her insight has been invaluable in getting to grips with the more complex side of HPB.
