About Orestes
I am a graduate of the National Theater of Greece Drama School (2004) and majored in Film and Media at UC Berkeley (2025). I have degrees in Directing, Screenwriting and Film production and I have had a 20-year-long career internationally (UK, GR, CY) and Domestically (US). My classical theater training has shaped into a stage and in-camera career (TV, Film) and offered me a depth of experience that I am using to help actors overcome any type of challenges they face in their performance. Most importantly I love the craft and I am hoping to share this love with fellow creators regardless of where they are in their path.

This class provides a comprehensive approach to analyzing a play or film script, using it as a basis to create a compelling character. I use what every performer brings to the table from their life experience to world understanding and sensibility to help them understand and use their power as storytellers to explore and create characters fit for any genre. My approach aims to support and help overcome any blockages encountered in your acting career and experience and help you have a positive experience, having fun in creating a powerful character.
