I had to write and deliver a father of the bride speech. Having not done any real public speaking before this did fill me with dread but I was determined to get through this and make my daughter proud.
Although Julia helped me in structuring the speech, she didnt take away the things that i wanted to say but added to them and made sure it flowed naturally .
We worked on the techniques for the all important delivery and instilled the confidence in me to go outthere and "perform."
On the day I was able to control the nerves as I was prepared and confident.
The speech went well and I received some incredible feedback.

I have been having voice coaching with Julia McDade for a couple of months. The trigger for starting the sessions was to help my nerves in reading the eulogy at my father’s funeral. I wanted to sound confident, clear and fluent.
