About Emilie
My name is Emilie, and I have been learning and loving the French language for the past 10 years. I have so much respect for the language learning process because even though it takes time and effort, the rewards are wonderful! I have seen over 250 students begin learning French and leave with higher confidence and capacity to speak French. I began learning French in a classroom and I immediately saw the benefit of having a personal tutor who can assess needs and help build confidence in the language. I have 5+ years of French teaching and tutoring and I know that everyone has a unique way of learning a language. Knowing this, I have focused my teaching abilities on locating students' strengths and adjusting learning to grow within their weaknesses so everyone can see progress. With a student-informed language learning plan that combines individual and collaborative language comprehension and creation, my students will be well on their way to growing their language-learning skills and finding joy as they do it!
