About Emma
Hello, my name is Emma, and I am a dedicated educator with a BA (Hons) in Language Studies, specializing in Spanish. Being bilingual, with a Spanish heritage rooted in my mother's origins from Madrid, I have always felt a deep connection to the Spanish language and culture. My passion for education has been evident since childhood, when I would spend hours teaching imaginary classes on my beloved whiteboard.
My commitment to sharing the beauty of the Spanish language has only grown over the years. I believe that learning a new language not only broadens the mind but also enables a profound cultural integration, opening doors to new opportunities and connections that transcend traditional boundaries.
I bring over five years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) to Chinese students online. Additionally, I have successfully taught Spanish to students ranging from young children to university level, both in-person and online. For the past two years, I have focused on providing 1:1 tutoring in a special needs environment, where I have designed and delivered customized lessons in subjects including mathematics, English, history, and geography.
My passion for education drives me to make a meaningful contribution to society, one student at a time. I am committed to fostering a love of learning in each of my students and helping them achieve their full potential.

My approach is student focused, I tailor my classes using a variety of teaching methods depending on each students learning style. I will always go the extra mile to make learning a pleasant experience. I endeavour to teach subjects in an easy to understand, fun and creative manner. When teaching languages it is important to minimise teacher talking time to make sure students are getting the practice they need, allowing them the time to utilise the language and reach their full potential. My mission is to ensure every one of my students succeeds and feel confident gaining a level of proficiency they can be proud of. Whether you're emigrating, going on holiday, studying for an exam, whether you're 6 or 60! I can provide tailored classes to meet your needs.
