About PREM

Commerce and Law graduate with MBA in HR. Presently I am an HR Advisor and People Development Practitioner with more than 33 years of experience across the public and private sectors in India and Indonesia. My work combines strategic insight, operational experience & a human-centered approach to building organizations and developing people.

I began my career with NTPC, working across locations and corporate headquarters. This grounding helped me understand both the strategic priorities & everyday people challenges of large, complex organizations. My subsequent leadership roles with Reliance Power & Larsen & Toubro extended this experience across power, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining & EPC businesses.

Throughout my career, I have led and supported organizational change, aligned HR priorities with business needs & strengthened talent and leadership capabilities. My core strengths include talent management, leadership development, organizational design, learning & capability building. Mentoring HR professionals, many of whom have progressed into senior leadership roles, remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

In my last corporate assignment, I headed HR and CSR for the L&T–MHPS Joint Ventures, overseeing people management across manufacturing units, EPC sites & corporate functions supporting large-scale boiler, turbine & equipment operations.

Beyond corporate practice, I am the Founder & Convenor of Nation’s Human Development Forum (NHDF), a voluntary platform for intergenerational dialogue, mentoring, knowledge-sharing & constructive nation-building. NHDF seeks to connect the energy and fresh perspectives of younger generations with the experience of senior and retired professionals. Its focus is on people-centered development, ethical leadership, informed citizenship & practical solutions to shared societal challenges.

I also work as a Life Counselor and Professional Coach, supporting personal growth, emotional well-being, and leadership clarity, often on a pro bono basis. I am a certified trainer and assessor, with experience in Development Centers, psychometric assessments, coaching and counseling.

As an author, poet & digital creator, I write and share reflective content in English & Hindi on leadership, life, human behavior & society & have published 22 titles. These pursuits complement my professional belief that meaningful development begins with understanding people & respecting their dignity.

Currently I work as an independent HR consultant, advisor and coach, helping organizations and individuals strengthen capabilities, navigate change and pursue thoughtful, ethical & people-first solutions.

About the lesson

My teaching preference is online with online content like ppt & content. I deliver my lecture and note queries of students which I keep addressing during my sessions. I am experienced and well-read and patient to listen. The classes are intended for college-going students, obviously adults.
