About Georgia
I am a 23-year-old musician based in Sydney, with a Bachelor of Music degree specialising in performance. As the lead singer of the renowned Sydney Wedding Band, I have gained extensive experience and honed my skills as a performer. I have had the privilege of entertaining audiences at various events, showcasing my talent and stage presence.
In addition to my performance career, I am also a dedicated music tutor. Currently, I am teaching three young students, providing them with a solid foundation in music and nurturing their passion for singing. I take pride in tailoring my lessons to their individual needs, ensuring they receive the guidance and support required for their musical growth.
Having completed my music degree, I possess a deep understanding of music theory, vocal techniques, and performance practices. In my approach to singing tutoring, I prioritise a personalised and student-centered learning experience. I tailor my techniques and teaching methodology to meet the individual needs and goals of my students. Lessons take place at my home studio.
I employ a combination of vocal exercises, technical instruction, and repertoire exploration to develop a strong foundation and enhance vocal skills. I focus on proper breathing, vocal technique, pitch accuracy, dynamics, and interpretation. Additionally, I provide guidance on stage presence and performance techniques to help students express themselves confidently.
The typical length of a lesson is usually 60 minutes, allowing sufficient time for warm-up exercises, skill-building activities, and working on selected repertoire.
As a tutor, I bring a Bachelor of Music (Performance) degree from AIM University, which has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of music theory, performance practices, and vocal techniques. I have practical experience as the lead singer of the Sydney Wedding Band and have performed at various venues, honing my vocal skills and stage presence.
