About Sahana
I have extensive tutoring experience through my business, All Around Tutoring. Outside of being a tutor, I am an engineering student in college in upstate NY. In high school, I was in the top percent of my class. I also have been in the honor or high honor roll every quarter. I have supplementary psychology and child education experience that allows me to better help you learn!

MY TEACHING APPROACH: Each student has unique needs, and I learn all about them on a FREE ONLINE CONSULTATION, before I formulate their tutoring experience. My teaching approach centers around fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. I believe in tailoring my methods to suit the individual needs and learning styles of my students. I integrate a variety of teaching techniques, including visual aids, practical examples, active discussion, and adaptability. A TYPICAL LESSON: A typical lesson involves a warm-up to review old concepts and introduce elements of a new one. Then, the lesson topic is introduced conceptually with a demonstration, and walkthrough. The student and I will work through problems together until they feel comfortable to do so on their own, and I provide support and clarity as problem difficulty increases. The lesson concludes with a recap of material and an introduction of homework and supplementary materials. WHAT SETS ME APART: 1. Adaptability: I tailor my teaching methods to suit the unique learning styles and preferences of each student. 2. Real-world Relevance: I emphasize the practical applications of theoretical concepts, making the subject matter more relatable and interesting. 3. I teach all subjects available to students at this level, but I specialize in mathematics, especially for students with attention deficit disorders.
