Ariel has been a coworker of mine over the past year in the Providence RI school department. She consistently demonstrated professional values that align with the expectations of the Providence Public School System. She never hesitated to go above and beyond for students who needed extra help, in or out of the classroom. She demonstrated organization that was rarely seen in teachers with her level of experience, always coming to school with binders or packets of extra activities for students in the event that lessons were not provided. Considering Ms. Loontjens was a long term substitute, she exceeded her duties daily. She cares incredibly about each one of her students, both emotionally and academically. She enjoys collaborating with coworkers, and is eager to work together to design lessons or assignments, as well as discuss any potential difficulties in the classroom. Ariel is truly a kind, funny invidual, wise beyond her years in the field of education. Any school she worked in would be extremely lucky to have her as a teacher and a colleague!

Ever since I have known Ariel she has put all of her time and energy into making sure everything is perfect when it comes to taking care of children. Whether its going above and beyond with a teaching plan, or making sure kids feel comfortable and get along with their peers, she always gives 110%. Her personality is very strong willed and giving up isnt her thing. She worked with kids who came from troubled upbringings, and has encountered difficult situations in which not most other teachers or people would be able to handle. From this she has gained more knowledge and experience , which is why she would be able to relate and help out any child. Any student would be privileged to have her as a teacher!!!
