About Megan
Hi! I'm Megan, a BSc (Hons) Anatomy graduate and 3rd-year medical student. I know first-hand how challenging it is to learn anatomy alongside everything else in medical school, which is why I'm passionate about teaching to build confidence in challenging topics.
Whether you're unsure why certain special tests are performed during physical examinations, how anatomy explains pathological findings, or how to revise in a way that doesn't solely rely on memorisation. Hi! My name is Megan. I'm an anatomy graduate and a current 3rd-year medical student. I want to help anatomy and medical students understand anatomy in depth through functional and clinical perspectives.
I graduated with a 2:1 in Anatomy, during which I covered:
-> gross anatomy (thorax, abdomen, back, upper limb, lower limb, head and neck, and neuroanatomy)
-> 150+ hours of experience in dissection of Thiel-embalmed cadavers
-> embryology
-> histology
A typical lesson length is 1 hour, but I am happy to accommodate longer lessons when I can.
My teaching methods include:
- interactive teaching (via 3D models, illustrations, etc.)
- active learning via real-world clinical application
- tailored teaching based on your weaknesses and goals
- Anki decks for high-yield revision outside of tutoring
- summaries of everything covered during lessons
- small group or 1:1 lessons
I deliver lessons primarily for university-level anatomy and medical students, and also teach dental and other health sciences.

Megan has been my anatomy lab partner at uni for almost 3 years now. She is really good at taking complex topics and breaking them down into easy-to-understand concepts. I had been struggling to wrap my head around "afferent" and "efferent" neurons; she explained it so much better than the lectures and gave a really good way to remember the difference between the two.
Also, she has an anatomy degree, so trusttttt she knows her onions.I know Megan as she is my usual anatomy tutor, she is extraordinarily patient and knowledgeable on everything anatomy and physiology.
I really appreciate that she gives embryological background when explaining how certain structures have come to be and I love her humour! She is a fantastic and personable tutor!
When revising for a short anatomy quiz I had coming up, she helped make questions and make a mock so I knew what areas I was weakest on and helped me to work on them. I got 88% in that exam!
