About Liberty
My experience leads back to when I was taking my GCSE examinations, at this time I helped my fellow students and friends with our curriculum. I began tutoring professionally online in April 2017, since then I have completed tutorials with 5 different students.

Hi! Currently I am working towards a Master of Arts in Geography at the University of St Andrews. I chose to study Geography due to its holistic nature, it manages to encompass a multitude of disciplines whilst remaining extremely relevant. Having left Sixth Form in 2016, I have recent experience of taking exams; I believe personalised revision styles and exam technique are crucial to success. Having received an A grade in A-level maths and am available to tutor students up to GCSE level. My tutorials are based on the individual learning needs and goals of the pupil. Sessions are structured as a learning cycle of tutor explanation and demonstration, followed by pupil imitation through selected examples and consolidation through homework. Consideration is given to different learning styles to deliver effective learning. This means tutorials include, but are not limited to visual demonstrations, structured examples and supporting explanations as well as breaking information into bit size digestible chunks. Relevant past paper practice is used both for imitation during tutorials as well as for consolidation through homework. Progress will be monitored by pupil understanding and application during tutorials as well as through the homework set. All tutorials are delivered in an encouraging manner with patience and positive reinforcement.
