About Merdan

I work as a Turkish teacher in a private school in Çankaya. I was graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Education, Department of Turkish Education in 2019 with the title of "Honorary Student" with an average of 3.01. I was an Erasmus student for 5 months in Germany / Essen, University of Duisburg-Essen / Institute of Turkish Studies in 2017-18 fall semester. Currently, I am a preparatory student at Kırıkkale University, Faculty of Science and Literature, Department of French Translation and Interpretation, as a second undergraduate degree. I have been giving one-on-one private lessons since January 2016. Since then, I have had dozens of students that I have taught private lessons. These students took exams such as TEOG, YGS-LYS and got all or most of the questions correctly and settled in good schools in Ankara. I also had the opportunity to teach hundreds of students at the schools where I did internship and work.

Before starting my classes, I ask some preparatory questions in order to attract the attention of the student on the subject we will focus on. In this way, I determine the level of readiness by revealing the prior knowledge of the student. In my lessons, I give examples from daily life and support them with visuals if necessary so that the student can comprehend the subject and the gain. Humor also has a place in my lessons. Every piece of information I explain in the lesson is important, but I add some humor to the work to stay motivated and attract attention. As we live in the 21st century, I take advantage of the requirements of this age and teach my lessons within the framework of the knowledge and skills in the current conditions. My classes are aimed at everyone who has problems in Turkish, especially middle school and high school students.
