About Antony
My name is Antony, and I've always been the kind of person who can't study one thing without wanting to understand how it connects to everything else. I've spent years studying Quranic sciences, Western and Islamic philosophy, modern Middle Eastern history, and international relations — not in separate boxes, but as a single, tangled, fascinating web. For the last 5 years, I've tutored students who want the same: high schoolers preparing for debate or model UN, university students struggling to connect theory to real events, adult learners who want to understand the news more deeply, and Muslims who want to study the Quran with context and intellectual honesty. My students trust me because I don't pretend to have all the answers — I teach them how to ask better questions, find reliable sources, and hold complexity without oversimplifying. I've helped students write research papers that actually argue something, prepare for oral exams with confidence, and develop a genuine love for learning that extends far beyond our sessions. With me, you won't just cover a syllabus. You'll learn to think critically, connect disciplines, and engage with the world as a curious, informed, and humble student — for life.

Hi, I'm Antony. I've tutored across multiple humanities and social science disciplines for 5 years, connecting dots between Quranic studies, philosophy, international relations, Middle Eastern politics, and general knowledge. My approach is interdisciplinary and big-picture — I don't teach subjects in isolation because the world doesn't work that way. For Quran studies, we focus on tajweed (proper recitation), memorization techniques, tafsir (exegesis), and understanding the historical and linguistic context of verses. For philosophy, I cover logic, ethics, epistemology, and major thinkers from Plato to modern Islamic philosophers. For international relations and Middle Eastern studies, we explore geopolitics, colonial history, conflict analysis, diplomacy, and current events — with an emphasis on critical thinking, not memorizing facts. For general knowledge, we build curiosity-driven learning: how to ask good questions, evaluate sources, and connect information across history, science, geography, and culture. My students learn to think, not just memorize. You'll leave each session with more questions — and that's a good thing.
