About Susan

My name is Susan and I am an Applied Languages student in my final year at University of Limerick who is very passionate about languages and education.

I completed my Erasmus in France, taught in Spain for one year and have worked in both Germany and Austria.

I completed my Leaving Certificate in 2018 and I have a deep and comprehensive understanding of the exam layout and marking scheme. I know how daunting the JC/LC exams can be so I am here to help you achieve the maximum results in all aspects (oral, aural, writing, reading).

About the lesson

180 Hour Level 5 TEFL Course completed.

Teaching Style:
-Primarily use the CEFR framework to identify level of proficiency: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 through short conversation to get to know the student.
-Use a variety of teaching methods depending on individual learning style.
-Conduct needs assessments and design individualized tutoring services according to student needs.
Lessons usually last 40 minutes to an hour and are suited to all ages.

English Language Assistant at I.E.S Mariana Pineda in Granada, Spain.
-Assisted professors in a secondary school engaging with students aged 11-18 in English.
