About Villafane
Hi! I’m Amanda, and I’m so excited to help you start your Spanish journey. I was born and raised in Bolivia, a beautiful country known for having one of the clearest and most neutral Spanish accents in the world—perfect for beginners!
Who am I?
Beyond being a tutor, I am a creative soul. I love painting, and I believe that learning a language is like creating a piece of art: it takes patience, practice, and a lot of color! I am also a huge tennis fan, so I understand the importance of practice and "hitting the ball" many times until you get it right.
Why I want to help you:
I am a second language learner myself (I speak English), so I remember exactly how it felt to say my first words and the fear of making mistakes. That’s why I decided to become a tutor: to create a friendly, patient, and fun space where you can learn without pressure.
I’m a very calm and patient person. Whether we are talking about art, sports, or just basic daily life, I’m here to listen and guide you every step of the way.

My Teaching Style: Creative, Patient, and Practical
My goal is to make you feel comfortable from minute one. Since I love painting, I use many visual tools, colors, and diagrams to help you understand Spanish without getting bored. We won't just memorize grammar; we will build sentences you can actually use.
What to expect in our first lessons:
Zero to Hero: We start with the basics (greetings, introducing yourself, and "survival" phrases) using English to support us whenever you feel lost.
Clear Bolivian Accent: You will learn with one of the clearest and most neutral accents in Latin America, making it much easier for you to distinguish sounds.
Interactive Material: We will use digital boards, images, and simple conversations about topics you like, such as sports (Tennis!), travel, or hobbies.
Constant Feedback: I will kindly correct your pronunciation and provide small "homework" or tips to practice during the week.
Why learn with me?
I am a native speaker who has also been a student (learning English!), so I know exactly how it feels to start from scratch. My classes are a "safe space" where making mistakes is part of the fun.
