About Tahmina
I have a history of over 50% of my class achieving A* - A grades and a 100% success rate in the A* - C grade range. My students frequently surpass their expected grades.
Additionally, I serve as an AQA Psychology examiner, offering comprehensive subject expertise.
In addition to my teaching role, I offer guidance to students navigating the UCAS process.

I have gained more than 5 years of experience as the Head of Psychology at a school in London, and I`ve also served as an AQA Psychology examiner.
My tutoring services are designed to reinforce what students are learning at their respective schools while also addressing critical aspects such as essay writing, content comprehension, revision strategies, and exam tactics, all aimed at helping them secure top grades.
My approach to tutoring involves an initial assessment of each student, enabling me to create a customised program tailored to their individual skills and abilities. I place a strong emphasis on teaching effective exam techniques, enabling students to gain a deeper insight into the expectations for excelling in both short answer questions and 16-mark essay questions. Regular feedback, including the marking of students` work, is provided to guide them in improving their performance and achieving higher grades. I deliver lessons in a clear and comprehensible manner, ensuring students develop a strong grasp of Psychology concepts.
During my tutoring sessions, I employ a variety of engaging activities to support learning, including quick quizzes, interactive whiteboard exercises, animated videos to visualise complex processes, real-life examples, and, undoubtedly, practice with past exam questions alongside model answers.
I am committed to evaluating any work completed by my students outside of our sessions. My friendly, approachable, and dedicated teaching style ensures that my tutees consistently reach their full potential.
