About Sruti
I am a professional Architect and Urban Designer with 4.5 years of university-level and private teaching experience. Over the course of my career, I have worked extensively across architectural design, master planning, and technical construction documentation. This industry background allows me to bridge the gap between abstract software tools and the practical, standard drafting conventions demanded in professional practice and academic studios.
My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, patience, and efficiency. Having mentored dozens of students through demanding studio deadlines and professionals transitioning into design roles, I understand that learning CAD software can feel overwhelming without structured guidance. With an architectural and urban design background and over 4.5 years of teaching experience, I teach AutoCAD through a structured, project-driven methodology. Rather than memorizing isolated tools, you learn how commands integrate into real industry workflows—from initial setup and line management to production-ready technical drawings.

Teaching methodology:
Lessons are hands-on and interactive. We work directly through live screen sharing on real-world briefs, university assignments, or sample floor plans. I focus heavily on efficient drafting habits—keyboard shortcuts, precise dimensioning, layering discipline, blocks, and layout management between Model and Paper space.
Typical lesson length:
Standard sessions run for 60 minutes, with 90-minute options recommended for in-depth assignment troubleshooting or complex drafting exercises.
Every lesson is paced around your immediate goals, ensuring you leave each session with practical drawings and repeatable skills.
