About Hazel
My fascination with architecture began with a curiosity about how spaces shape human interactions and the environment. I earned a B.Arch and an M.Arch in Urban Design, gaining expertise in sustainable planning, structural logic, and spatial visualization. Over the past 9 years, I have guided students of varying levels, helping them transform abstract ideas into clear, functional, and aesthetically compelling designs.
I emphasize teaching with patience, encouragement, and adaptability. Lessons combine traditional sketching, model-making, digital tools, and critical discussions to create a comprehensive learning experience. I encourage exploration, experimentation, and reflection, helping students build independent thinking, technical skills, and creative confidence. My goal is always to foster a strong understanding of architectural principles alongside expressive creativity.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged in urban design projects, sustainability studies, and architecture research, enriching my lessons with real-world relevance. Witnessing learners grow from tentative ideas to confident, well-executed designs is deeply rewarding. Supporting students in discovering their creative voice and practical problem-solving skills is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.

Architecture becomes exciting when students understand how imaginative concepts transform into functional spaces. I focus on design thinking, spatial reasoning, structural logic, sustainable materials, and visual communication, using sketches, models, and digital tools to make ideas tangible. Each lesson emphasizes critical problem-solving, aesthetic awareness, and the step-by-step process of translating abstract concepts into practical projects. Learners explore how architecture shapes human experience while developing the confidence to express their creative vision clearly and professionally.
Lesson content is personalized for all levels. Beginners start with fundamental principles, such as basic drafting, proportion, and visualizing forms in space, cultivating a strong foundation. Intermediate learners explore advanced design strategies, 3D modeling, environmental planning, and material application to strengthen both conceptual and technical abilities.
