About Thivya
Im currently in my final year of medicine in UKM. I have a passion of teaching and helping people. Some of us are shy and nervous to ask for help especially to seniors (don't worry you're not alone), don't worry I'm here to help you!! I believe medicine should be fun and exciting despite our healthcare culture could sometimes be toxic and mentally draining. Knowledge is power, as long we know what we're doing, we'll do good. Many of us would find these subjects “too difficult,” but with the right approach, you’ll see how interesting they really are. Let’s learn build your confidence to be a safe doctor together.

I teach topics that you specifically need help on. I will get to know your studying style first and go from there. It's very important to study smart instead of studying hard especially with limited time and to avoid burnout. Here are my ways of conducting lessons in general. Firstly for clinical postings (Internal Med, Surgery etc), I simplify patient presentations, clinical reasoning, and how to approach differentials and management that is ideal for OSCE prep, case discussions, and ward survival tips. I can also teach on the specific disease and its pathophysiology. For exam & OSCE, I offer structured revision sessions, practice cases, and tips on how to tackle written papers, MCQs, EMQs, and OSCE stations confidently. For subjects like anatomy & physiology I break down difficult systems using easy to understand visuals and memory techniques to help you retain and recall key concepts for OSCE.

Perfect! As a first year student in medicine trying to learn about cell signaling, Thivya has given me a good breakdown of the basics! She is very passionate about teaching, and definitely at a fair price for us students. I hope to learn more with her as time goes on, into other subjects.

RM40 per lesson is applicable for Malaysian students only.
For international students, first class would be RM50. Second class onwards would range up to RM100-150 depending on the type of content and the amount of notes I prepare for you :)
