About Sarah
I have been learning the violin for 10 years and throughout my journey, I have played in various orchestras (My school’s, APO Summer School orchestra, and the KBB Honours Programme) as 1st Violin. This year I’m performing as part of the Sydney University Symphony Orchestra. I also hold the ARSM Diploma for Violin performance.
Open to teaching students of all age groups as my previous students ranged from 7- 20+. I have been tutoring violin for a year now and I hope to continue:)

About the lesson

Usually, we begin with studies/ scales which will roughly take up 20%-30% of our lesson. This can act as a warm-up whilst also improving fundamental techniques. Then the remainder of the lesson will be used on the pieces, in which I will offer fingering, articulation, and bowing suggestions whilst also correcting any mistakes. I will provide feedback and offer certain areas for students to practice on.
