About Marta
Hi ! My name is Marta and I'm an art history major with a philosophy, completing her last year in college. I have a good amount of experience (4 years' worth, to be exact) tutoring students of different ages (predominantly high school). I love getting to know my students' interests and learning styles so I can personalize the lessons by making them fun and engaging.

A great understanding of a subject matter is not about being able to regurgitate facts, but rather about comprehension: understanding things such as cause and effects, and how events and ideas relate to one another. With this in mind, I strive to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of history and the ideas and events that helped shape art history and philosophy.
I strongly believe that curriculum should be engaging, so my teaching method focuses on understanding the subjects through discourse. My lessons are perfect for both high school students getting ready to enter college as well as college students starting out on their art history or philosophy track.
