About Mia
In addition to receiving my MA in Art History, I have completed both an undergraduate and graduate thesis on varying subjects within the field and presented my research at two different academic symposiums. I also served as a Teaching Assistant during my graduate degree where I eagerly taught several lectures and provided critical feedback to an assigned 50+ students at a time during each academic semester. Supplementing my academic experience is my proficiency in the museum field, having served on the curatorial team for an art institution for two years and completed multiple internships.

I am a very engaged and encouraging educator who will work with any student regardless of their proficiency in the subject. My lesson plans aim to help students hone their comprehension, research, and writing skills by stimulating critical thinking and successfully developing your ideas. My teaching method often intertwines theoretical approaches of art history with the practicum of museum studies in order to prepare students for confrontation with contemporary issues.
