About Emmanuel
Having a long experience of performing, teaching is a way to share my passion. I have a state diploma, jazz discipline, cello option. I have a classical background and can teach this instrument with the methods of this music. In this field I have collaborated with the Stanislas Quartet (creation around the work of Georges Crumb), with the soloist Jean De Spengler for cello duets, as well as with baroque and classical music ensembles... My participation in jazz and improvised music creations, my training in jazz at the Marseille Conservatory and the University of Montreal, also allow me to teach this style to the cello. I use pedagogical methods specific to the instrument and to jazz, both playful and open to contemporary, traditional and contemporary music.
