About Kat
I have completed a BA in History of Art and French Studies from Warwick University as well as an MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby's Institute of Art. Since completing my studies, I have been working in the arts sector in London for the past 10 years, working for art fairs (Frieze, the Other Art Fair, the Affordable Art Fair), art events (Jeremy Deller at British pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale), and art galleries (Hada Contemporary and Broth Art). Additionally, I freelance as an arts writer. My professional involvement in the different sectors of the arts industry has given me a strong understanding of the multifarious elements of the Contemporary Art market, strengthening the academic foundations, which I acquired during my studies. I continue to develop my knowledge of art history and the Contemporary Art sector through my own writing, as well as reading significant art publications, regularly visiting galleries, and listening to podcasts. I would enjoy sharing my knowledge of art history or assisting students that are looking for help with their studies or looking to expand their knowledge and understanding of art history, from any era.

I teach one-on-one personalised lessons to help each individual student achieve their individual educational goals. I am happy to teach students of any level (school, university students, independent course students), and would like to offer a free introductory 1 hour lesson to better understand what topics you need assistance with to construct a lesson plan.
