About Ashley
I am a classically trained violinist and educator with a Bachelor in Classical Music (First Class Honors) and over five years of teaching experience. My performance background includes collaborations with esteemed ensembles such as the National Symphony Orchestra, Tutan Festival Orchestra, Selangor Symphony Orchestra, Kuala Lumpur City Opera Orchestra. In addition to performing, I currently serve as a string coach at Selangor Symphony Youth Orchestra and an international school, where I guide elementary and high school students. My holistic teaching approach emphasizes strong technique, musical expression, and personal growth, helping students build confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for music. Safeguarding & Professional Standards Student safety and well-being are my top priorities. I follow strict safeguarding guidelines to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for every student. Lessons are conducted with professionalism, clear communication with parents/guardians when applicable, and adherence to best practices for child protection. Whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate player, young or adult, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals and enjoy the rewarding journey of music-making.

Violin, piano, viola, and music theory lessons are available here. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and interests, fostering not just technical skills but also confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.
I have 5 years of teaching experience and currently work as a string coach at an international school.
Lessons are an hour each.
Personalised lessons for beginners to intermediate students. Children and adults are welcomed!

Details
I charge an hourly rate of RM95 per hour excluding transportation fee. The trial lesson will be free.
One month consists of four (4) lessons, each one hour in duration, and each month must fulfil all four (4) lessons.
This rate will remain in effect as long as each lesson is one hour, or until there is a revision in the lesson fees. Any fee revision will be announced at least three (3) months in advance.
