About Joshua

Hello! I’m Josh, a high school tutor with more than 4 years of experience in tuition, as well as a 4th year dental student at Griffith University. In this time, I have helped many students achieve their goals of scoring in Band 6, receiving a high ATAR and entering Medical and Dental School, among others. My tutoring style involves creating an environment where students are encouraged to step beyond their comfort zones, challenge ideas and think critically. Whether you are struggling with basics, or striving to achieve top marks, I’m certain that we can find improvement and confidence from my lessons.

A few reviews from past students:

James: Joshua has been a great tutor in chemistry for year 12. He was flexible with times and readily available when I needed him. He helped me comprehend concepts I found difficult to grasp in class which increased my confidence in the subject. I thoroughly recommend Joshua to all chemistry students.

Lauren: Josh helped me tremendously with chemistry over the last few weeks that led up to the HSC. His sessions were super engaging and honestly fun as he broke down content in ways that clicked with me and adjusted to my way of learning accordingly. His digital writing pad was super helpful as he stepped through hard questions and essentially, we were able to make notes as we went. He gave me heaps of confidence and pushed me to answer sporadic questions, so he knew I was getting it. My only regret is that I didn’t get him sooner!
