About Xiao
I have been playing the piano for as long as I can remember — it has always been more than an instrument to me; it’s been my voice, my passion, and my greatest source of joy. I began my musical journey at the age of five, and by ten I had already won my first competition. At eleven, I achieved a Distinction in my Grade 8 exam, marking the beginning of a performance career that has taken me to some of the most prestigious stages in the UK.
I have had the privilege of performing at Steinway Hall and St James’ Palace, including unforgettable moments playing for members of the Royal Family. For almost six years, I have trained at the Junior Conservatoire in London, an experience that has shaped me into a confident, expressive, and technically advanced musician.
Beyond performing, I’m deeply committed to supporting the next generation of young musicians. I am involved with musical charities that provide opportunities for students from low-income backgrounds, helping to make high-quality music education accessible to everyone.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or a developing pianist, I aim to share not just the technical skills of piano playing, but the passion, discipline, and excitement that make music truly transformative.
