About Chloe
Through my teaching you will work hard to make art you are proud of. Art is my biggest passion because it allows humanity to express themselves. I want to establish a safe and comfortable space for you to make whatever you want and not be afraid or judged. I know what its like to have difficult art teachers, and I really want to be the teacher I never had growing up. Everything I teach is based in inspiring confidence in you as an artist. I can't wait for us both to get excited about what you're making!

My University Diploma in Visual Arts has given me so much experience in many mediums - everything from charcoal still-lifes and expressionist acrylics, to massive murals and sculptures.
From abstract to hyper-realistic pieces, I am well-versed in many styles. The lesson's length is dependent on what you want to learn. I specialize in teaching human anatomy, portraiture, and landscapes. I will give lessons tailored to your chosen medium, style, and techniques.
I will give constructive personal feedback to help you grow as an artist. I know how scary feedback can be, and I promise to always support you whilst showing the tangible groundwork you can do to improve in the ways you want to.
I will help you take inspiration from your favourite artists and techniques while also encouraging your unique style to blossom.
I teach beginner to intermediate skill-level artists. With personal experience in NCEA fine art, I understand what is needed for excellence level portfolios. However, my lessons are for everyone, regardless of age.
