About Kamon
Hi I'm Kamon Yo! I am majoring math and music in Auckland University. I teach basic piano level from Grade 1-5. I like listening to J-POP, K-POP and J-ROCK music. My favorite Japanese artists are ONE OK ROCK (band), King Gnu, Fujii Kaze and so on. My favorite English artists are Billie Eilish! I also like Laufey! Teaching Methodology Piece Analysis: Break down music pieces to explore techniques and emotions, making learning manageable. Improvisation: Engage in basic piano improvisation while singing, analyzing chord progressions and music textures. Music Theory: Cover basic music theory concepts aligned with ABRSM Grades 1-5. Scales and Arpeggios: Teach essential piano scales and arpeggios for skill development. Typical Length of a Lesson 1 hour: Each session is designed for focused learning and practice. Qualifications/Experience ABRSM Piano Grade 8: Achieved Merit. ABRSM Music Theory Grade 5: Achieved Distinction. Performance Experience: Shared music cover videos and released a single on NetEase Music. Target Audience All Ages: Welcoming students of all ages, particularly those at piano Grades 1-5.
