As a professional working actor living in NYC (BFA in Acting from University of Minnesota Guthrie Theater/The Globe Theater (UK)) I can provide you with the tools and techniques you need to get your auditions, monologues, and scene work to the NEXT LEVEL! I've performed in great spaces like the Guthrie Theater, 54 Below, the Globe Theater, and the O'Neill Theater Center, along with other indie and mainstream films, and now I'd love to work with YOU to get whatever you're working on into tip-top shape. Hi there! I'm Corey :) I offer personalized acting coaching for students looking for college audition prep, high school audition prep, unlocking heightened text speeches like Shakespeare and other classics, building out your MT rep book, and improving your overall audition technique with positive mindset approaches so you can go into any audition room confidently and crush it! I teach all levels and ages, and tailor my lessons based on students' specific needs and goals. I come from a BFA conservatory style background, and I trained in the US and UK with many acting styles and techniques such as Uta Hagen, Meisner, Stanislavsky, Chekhov and Shakespeare. I know how daunting college audition prep can seem, and I'm here to alleviate your doubts and get you sharp and ready to get accepted. Nowadays I'm a working professional actor in NYC, acting in both theater and film, giving me firsthand experience of our industry at large and how I can help you navigate your career in the here and now.
