Aviation has been my greatest passion and ambition since the age of 10 so this has been a pursuit of many many years. My job is to create new pilots, to instil captaincy, competence, and safety. I am a big believer that you learn to fly in the classroom, and put it into practice in the air.

My Teaching is without age or experience limits, my students come in all shapes and sizes. There is no typical, we can tailor the session to best suit your learning needs. I am happy to teach any element of the 9 Theoretical ground exams for the private pilot's licence: -Air Law -Navigation -Human Performance and Limitations -Flight Performance and Monitoring -Aircraft General Knowledge -Meteorology -Communications -Operational Procedures -Principles of Flight Or if you have anything else you may want to know, we can go off syllabus! From careers advice to how to perform an A Check, to How to Virtually scout a private landing area, planning flights and everything in-between.

Quite literally couldn't have became a pilot without James. You'll be in excellent hands with his expertise!
James is a colleague of mine. He is a pleasure to work with and I am frequently told by students and customers how helpful they have found him. Whenever I have seen him teaching, I notice that he goes in depth on topics but also makes sure that the student feels comfortable and is taking in the information he's telling them. Would highly recommend James!
